Well, we are live again. Actually the old site is still live and I’ve got to update it to point over here. The big question is, do you like the site name? Do you even get it? I thought (wrongly I guess) that Gear Monkey was a term that was pretty well known in the aviation industry. However, when I asked some guys in the Charlotte crew room about it they said they hadn’t ever heard the term before. On some further research I see that Wiki doesn’t have it. Hmm. I guess I named a website after something that doesn’t exsist. Oh well. So, what’s here? The main blog will continue to be a random assortment of rants, trip posts, picture posts and other stuff. The about page will be about me as I am just as vain as all the rest of ya’ll. The store is where I am selling my tshirt designs. Buy stuff! The pictures page is a photo gallery (Gallery2 rocks). It is updated with everything I have taken in 2006 currently and I will start to backfill as time permits. That’s about it. Other stuff may be added as I have the time/desire. We’ll see.

When I was in DC about a month ago I took a picture on my cell phone. Because I am too cheap to keep Vision on the plan I couldn’t email the picture to my self so it has been stuck there for a few weeks. I finally got a data cable from Ebay and after playing around with USB drivers for a few hours I got the picture off the phone. Sweet.
